Our Christmas present to ourselves last year was a new digital camera.
It's been fun experimenting with it.
This is me trying to explain "shallow depth of field" to Beej.
We still have a lot to learn about this camera.
I do love to take pictures and have ever since I took my first photography class
sophomore year of high school.
What's your favorite subject to photograph?

My boys have become my main subject to photograph, probably because other people don't put up with the amount of pictures I like to take. However, I also just like scenery. Some of my favorite pictures I have taken are of downtown Seattle, specifically Pike Place Market. There is a lot of options there.
I just ordered a digital photography book for dummies :) I never got to take photography in high school, but I love it. So I'm hoping I learn something.
My favorite subject...the kids!
