Grace
I have been hard at work on Grace's album. Most of the time, it's a lot of fun for me to put these pages together. I usually figure out how I want it all to come together before I put anything down permanently, and it can take me a while. Sometimes, it's even like I get scrapper's block, if there is such a thing, and that's when I try to move onto something else for a while until I'm inspired again. Don't over think it right? This one though came together incredibly easily, and I'm really pleased with it.
I really love the buttons and flowers. Lately, I'm just loving the color yellow. I keep buying yellow fabric, paper and accessories. And I could use the wood chip letters on every page. They add a lot of texture, which is one thing I appreciate about traditional scrapbooking. Digital is great too, but you don't get the texture and dimension if you put it together the old fashioned way.
And I am so in love with Grace. She is such a gift to us. When I look at her now, I can't believe that she is completely out of the baby stage and already two and a half. She'll be going to pre-school in the fall, something I still can't wrap my mind around completely--that she's already old enough for school! I just want to remember it all. To soak up this sweet time when she still wants hugs and snuggles and tons of time with mom and dad.

It's looking so great!! I love, love the flowers you made and I also have been loving yellow. :)
Thanks Rach! But in full disclosure, I did not make the flowers--I bought them. But that would be fun to try.
